A little about me

As a child, my parents instilled a sense of awe with all of our road trips.   Most spring breaks involved a trek to Florida to visit family and Walt Disney World.  Each summer, we would pile in the car and drive off to visit a new state or attraction.  I was hooked on the excitement of traveling to new places.

Then I began the journey with my own family.  I have been married to my wonderful husband for 30 years.  Twenty-one years ago, we had our first child, and within 4 years, we had 3 children.  During our lives together, we have been blessed with the opportunity to live in 4 states in the US, and in 2 countries in Europe: Belgium and Scotland.  Needless to say, the whole family consists of experienced travelers. Through all of the practice with my own family, I became comfortable with and really good at travel planning.

That brings me to 2012, when I was first introduced to the owner of Fairy Godmother Travel.  I expressed my love of helping family and friends make travel plans to a mutual acquaintance, and within months, I began working as a Fairy Godmother Travel agent.

In 2020, I purchased Fairy Godmother Travel from the previous owner, and my agency has now grown to over 40 agents across the country.

I continue to travel several times a year to a variety of destinations, not only due to my love of travel, but also so that I can stay up to date on all of my travel planning specialties.  I have traveled many times to Orlando and Southern California vacation spots.  At least once every 18 months, I take a cruise (on a variety of cruise lines) and also visit multiple Caribbean based All-Inclusive Resorts.  As often as possible, I travel back to Europe to refresh my knowledge of the rich, cultural history there.

River cruises are one of my favorite ways to explore harder to reach destinations within Europe, Asia, Egypt and Africa.

Today, I work full-time to help couples, families and groups create dream vacations. I treat my clients as if they are members of my family. I provide great care and consideration as I decide how to best meet their wishes for the best vacation possible. I love my job every day. I take great pride in doing the most humanly possible to create magical vacation memory-making opportunities for each person who comes to me for my travel planning expertise. I am honored to help others while doing my dream job.
